The United Nations Foundation links the UN's work with others around the world, mobilizing the energy and expertise of business and non-governmental organizations to help the UN tackle issues including climate change, global health, peace and security, women's empowerment, poverty eradication, energy access, and U.S.-UN relations.
The New York Office is the Foundation’s primary relationship manager with the UN system and diplomatic community in New York. In addition to monitoring, tracking and analyzing the day-to-day activities of the UN, the NY Office works closely to support the leadership of the Secretary-General in the areas of women’s and children’s health, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, strategic communications, and partnership building with the private sector.
The Partnerships Intern will provide cross-cutting communications, research and events support to the Office – allowing him/her learn about several priority issues of the Foundation.
The Intern will report to the Officer, UN Relations, New York Office.
The United Nations Foundation offers unpaid semester-long full and part-time internships. The Intern, Every Women Every Child should be available to start in January 2018.
